Surrogates
This is the new Bruce Willis movie and with a plot that vaguely resembles The Gamer. In this world people are able to live through their surrogates, robots that allow them to live their lives without the risk. Humans have become completely dependent on their surrogates and never really venture out into the real world. Bruce Willis plays a detective who uses his surrogate to investigate the murder of a college student, but as the investigation progresses he realizes that he will have to abandon his surrogate and venture into the real world himself.
Fame
The beloved musical is coming to the big screen in a rapidly growing trend. Whether this is due to a lack of ideas for movies or an honest desire to bring back the golden age of musicals, this movie is as well done as the others. It recaptures the magic and fun of Fame with all the effects that can be offered by putting a play on the big screen. Fame centers around a performance arts high school and the students who all one day hope to be stars.
Pandorum
This new sci-fi movie features Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster as astronauts who awaken from hypersleep to find themselves lost deep in space. They are dioriented from hypersleep and have no idea of who they are, but gradually they discover that the ship they thought they were alone on, once contained 60,000 passengers. As the men try to discover what happened to the people they find themselves fighting an unknown force. Get ready for an adventure with this sci-fi horror.
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell
This movie is based on the memoir of Tucker Max which tells the story of his debauchery driven life. Tucker (played by Matt Czuchry) behaves terribly while attending a bachelor party, so much so that he finds himself uninvited to the wedding. This prompts Tucker to give up his selfish ways in order to regain his invitation.
