Having the lowest prices of the year on computers is something that Black Friday sales are known for. Computers are one item that more than a few consumers are willing to camp out for, hours ahead of a big sale. Because of the massive amount of people who set out to buy computers during Black Friday each year, the competition amongst retailers to offer the best deal is huge. Not every retailer has released their Black Friday ad yet, but the stores that have are already boasting some pretty awesome deals.
So far the winner for least expensive computer deal is Target, with a netbook available for a cool $157. Even though this isn’t a particularly large model, it packs a punch with 250 GB of hard drive and Windows 7, impressive stats for a netbook. An Intel processor and Microsoft Office starter pack also come with this netbook.
Of course not everyone is into the small size of netbooks, the runner up for lowest price computer is a laptop that is going to be available at Walmart for only $198. This wireless-enabled laptop includes an AMD C-50 accelerated processor, webcam, and 15.6” screen. It also includes 2 GB of RAM, as well as 250 GB of hard drive space.
Walmart Black Friday also holds the spot for second best priced laptop, with a Hewlett Packard, boasting about 50% more memory than the $198 model, for only $50 more. If you can’t make it to Walmart at midnight, there is $299.99 model, with 2 GB available at Staples beginning at 6 AM. Best Buy also has a $299.99 laptop, starting at 12 AM, with 4 GB of memory.
Walmart will also be offering what seems to be this year’s lowest priced desktop model beginning at midnight, in the form of an Hewlett Packard for only $298, complete. Another incredible Black Friday computer deal that is definitely worth mentioning is the $399.99 Best Buy exclusive HP AMD Dual-Core all-in-one desktop which boasts a 20” non-touch LED display, 4GB DDR3 memory, and 1 TB of hard drive space. Even though this model is costlier, you are getting a hip new design that requires less space, a larger monitor screen, and double the hard drive space.
In addition to the deals that made it to the top of the list, consumers this year will find several computers available for less than $800 during Black Friday 2011. If you’ve been waiting to buy a new computer, this is definitely the year.
