Kendra Wilkinson is taking on a hilarious role in hit TV comedy The Mindy Project.
The 28-year-old former Playboy Playmate-turned-reality-star has been confirmed to return to the small screen in Fox’s hit comedy show.
The show’s creator and star Mindy Kaling thinks Kendra is bound to put on a hilarious performance.
“[It’s a] funny little part and my friend Jeremy [Bronson] wrote [it],” Mindy told Us Weekly at the post-Emmys Governors Ball. “A really funny script and she’s in it!”
Multi-talented Kendra has appeared in Larry David’s HBO comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm in the past, and has also taken on roles in two Scary Movie film instalments.
She is supposedly looking forward to flexing her funny bone onscreen once again.
“She will be playing a character,” a source told the magazine. “Mindy is a huge fan of Kendra’s and asked her to do one episode. Kendra is so excited!”
Kendra and American footballer spouse Hank Baskett share three-year-old Hank Jr. together and they have been married for almost four years.
The star recently revealed she and her husband are keen on giving their son a sibling.
“I’m ready,” she told People magazine, of expanding her brood. “I couldn’t be more ready, and Hank couldn’t be more ready. Our souls have connected, even Little Hank’s. Little Hank keeps saying to us, ‘I want a brother and a sister.’ So we have included him in our decision, too.”
