Daniel Radcliffe harbours secret dreams of becoming an American football player.
The actor rose to fame playing Harry Potter in the popular movie franchise and has since then taken on stage projects like Equus and creepy film The Woman in Black.
Standing at just 5ft 5in tall and weighing roughly 126lbs, Daniel might not be an obvious choice for the very physical game.
However, he harbours secret dreams of commanding the playing field, where the average player is around 6ft and weighs about 238lbs.
“I am not quite built for that. If I was 80lb heavier, I’d be the best running back the game has ever seen. I have the right mentality,” he laughed to British newspaper The Sun.
Daniel, 24, has been keeping himself busy with projects Horns and Allen Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings.
For him, putting the sport on TV is a means of switching off.
“[It helps me] focus on something different for a while,” he explained.
It seems that the British star might even have some spare time to watch games.
He’d been rumoured to play Freddie Mercury in an upcoming Queen biopic, but Daniel shot down the gossip.
“Everyone on the internet who I presume is saying I’m totally wrong for that part is correct. I am completely wrong for that part!” he recently declared.
“If I’d seen a rumour about me playing Iggy Pop, I’d think, ‘Hey, I’d have a go at that – that’d be fun!’, but Freddie Mercury? No. I don’t even know who the director is. They seem to be saying it’s Stephen Frears and Tom Hooper on the internet.”
