Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen star as two of Marvel’s most powerful superheroes in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, which debuts tonight at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 22 and is streaming exclusively on Disney Plus, Disney’s streaming platform.

This sequel movie, which narratively follows 2016′s “Doctor Strange” and the 2021 release of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, follows Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlett Witch (Olsen) as they battle for the fate of the world through time and space.

The film is set in a variety of locations, ranging from bustling London to dismal alternative universes, and hinges on Dr. Strange ensuring the safety of a teenager named America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez). Along with superstar leads, the film features a myriad of well-known cameos from actors including Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic, and Lashana Lynch as Captain Marvel.
