This Month’s Highlight

Werewolf by Night

MCU head honcho Kevin Feige loves to pride on his Marvel movies tackling different genres – Winter Soldier as a tense political thriller, Ant-Man as a heist movie, etc. – but we all know that sentiment can produce varying results. Werewolf by Night is being marketed as a campy monster horror of the Universal Monster movies of yore, and based off of early reviews, it may live up to that. Starring Gael García Bernal as monster hunter/werewolf Jack Russell and directed by composer Michael Giacchino, it’ll be quite interesting to see just want horrors Werewolf by Night can pull off in this Marvel Studios Special Presentation. (Streaming October 7.)
