Plot: The 70s are in full swing and a 12-year-old Gru wants nothing more than to be the world’s most vile villain. Even as he idolizes the super-villain group, Vicious 6, he, along with his loyal Minions, take the first steps in crafting the perfect lair, inventing weapons and pulling off some missions. When the leader of the Vicious 6, Wild Knuckles, is let go – Gru sees an opening to join the group – only for things to backfire spectacularly. On the run from the villains Gru finds help in an unlikely place – Wild Knuckles – and learns that even the most evil person in the world still needs friends.
