Harry Potter remains in the number 2 slot, but this time the movie knocking it down a peg, isn’t G-Force, it’s Funny People. Coming in at over $20 million for the weekend Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan had a good showing.
In Theaters Now: “Aliens” for the kids and “Funny People” for the adults
Funny People I think is going to take a lot of people by surprise, because it’s more than a comedy and when it changes it never goes the direction you expect. The good thing about this movie is that it seems real, it doesn’t make the assumption that incredible situations turn people into self-sacrificing, perfect individuals, which to me is incredibly intriguing.
